Yulia Virko (Switzerland, 1994) earned her degree from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD, Providence, RI). She also studied at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD, Savannah, GA.).
Virko considers painting and drawing her two favorite mediums to work in. In particular, Virko is attentive to color, as each of her paintings is both saturated and harmonious. Through unusual metaphors and bountiful associations, the artist explores the complexity of human nature and consciousness, creating imaginary worlds.
Virko has already implemented group projects in Russia, the United States and Europe.
She works and resides in Moscow.
